This online course trains business owners and organizational leaders on the business plan, financial plan, and project management office setup process, all within a 6-week, twice-a-week virtual meeting schedule; it is called – BPAVE 2: Business, Financial, & Project Management Planning For Virtual Organizations.
BPAVE 2 is an off-shoot of a prior KDEL coaching program (BPAVE); it is one of the most comprehensive and practical programs for developing cutting-edge 5-year financials, developing business plan documents for funding, client-focused, and operational purposes, and for helping organizations set up their project management departments for higher efficiency, monitoring, and profits.
BPAVE 2 is for entrepreneurs and organizational leaders who want to be armed with financial and business plans that can attract funding, and who want to “projectize” their operations so their organization can achieve very high profits, efficiency, and job satisfaction.

There are six modules within BPAVE II, one module occurring every week, with two virtual meetings per week, each lasting no more than 45 minutes.

Module 1 – The Process, PM KSAs, Template, Workbook, & Software Trial Downloads

This module starts from Day One of the program, and briefly outlines the business set-up process, coaches you through project management knowledge, skills, and attitudes, gives you access to 3 central templates to be used in the training, as well as the workbooks, and supervises your downloads of PM software trial versions for use during the week.

Module 2 – Project Management Software Training

This module gives you a hands-on experience with selected Project Management Software, namely Concept Draw Office and Microsoft Project.

Module 3 – Financial Plan Training

This module describes the components of your 5-year financial plan, from marketing & staffing budgets to the income statement. The spreadsheets are spread out conveniently, and automatically update any changes made during operations. They will prepare your company for prospective funding partners.

Module 4 – Loan Payback Schedule & Business Plan Trainings

This module will guide you through two trainings: how to prepare the loan payback schedule, and how to prepare the full business plan in PowerPoint format, both using the templates provided by KDEL.

Module 5 – Project Management Office (PMO) Set-Up, PM Training, and Hand-Off

This module trains your team on the fundamentals of project management (KSAs), on how to use project management software (Concept Draw Office and Microsoft Project), and on how to set up your project management office (PMO).

Module 6 – Wrapping Things Up: Conclusions, Review, Feedback, & Celebrations

This last module encourages participants to showcase what they have learned: how to accurately fill out the financial, loan payback schedule, and business plan templates, how to use the PM software to brainstorm and develop project management tools and reporting documents, and their duties and responsibilities as members of the project management office (PMO).
