This 3-day virtual leadership conference was hosted on Zoom, took 75 minutes per day, and guided leaderships and decision-makers through the fundamentals and intricacies of executive leadership, team dynamics and motivation, change management at its best, project management fundamentals and PMOs, doing more with less, and measuring productivity in virtual environments.

For your convenience, the sessions have been condensed into three short segments and heavily discounted to make it more affordable and accessible.

Leadership Conference – Day One: Team Dynamics & Change Management ($39.00)

This segment includes “Team Dynamics” and “Change Management”.

Team Dynamics guided leaders, directors, and managers on how to manage their teams optimally. Participants learned to motivate their teams to higher productivity and job satisfaction levels, communicate effectively and develop expert listening skills, and maximize team member buy-in and ownership. Other focus points were: understanding hybrid team structures that leverage the developmental, skill, and diversity levels of team members, understanding the varying needs of team members, their seasons, and how to leverage these to motivate them, and accentuating and coaching the art of balancing micro-management and macro-management. Utilizing milestones, phase-gates, and continuous process improvement as team management and motivation tools were also reviewed in this team dynamics and motivation part of the conference.

Change Management took executives and organizational leaders on a change and diversity management journey. They learned about the different types of change, understood it from an organizational standpoint, reviewed Kotter’s change model, learned how to facilitate change and communicate effectively during the change process, how to maintain organizational change, deal with resistance to change, leverage their roles as leaders during the conflict resolution process, learned how to help their teams influence change, and finally, learned to work with dysfunctional teams.

Leadership Conference – Day Two: Doing More With Less & Project Management ($39.00)

This segment includes “Doing More With Less” and “Project Management KSAs & PMO Basics, Set-Up, and Management”.

Doing More With Less addressed executive leadership needs in the following: the art of budgeting (how to prepare estimates and budgets), the science of making wise expenditure decisions (how to categorize and prioritize expenses), the skill-sets involved in make-or-buy decisions (deciding on in-house production or external purchasing of needed materials), the art and science of negotiating with contractors, vendors, consultants, and sub-contractors, and strategic ways to perform more with less human and technical resources, especially in remote work environments.

Project Management KSAs and PMOs – Basics, Setup, & Management introduced and familiarized leaderships with the knowledge areas, processes, tools, and techniques of project management, including such fundamentals as work breakdown structures (WBS), network diagramming and analysis, critical path methodology (CPM), and the Gantt chart. Leaders were treated to hands-on experience with such versatile project management software like Microsoft Project and Concept Draw Office and received the recommendations of KDEL’s team of experts on team planning & scheduling, performance tracking & bridging, brainstorming, mind-mapping, and resource levelling. In this same training segment, leaderships learned how to set up and manage their central project management offices (PMOs), with emphases on describing the duties of their organization’s portfolio, program, and project managers. The aim of this project management segment is to help streamline your organization, improve profit margins due to increased efficiencies in time and money, and reduce wastages in human and technological resources.
