Conflict Resolution 201

A guide to experienced field leaders’ and mentors’ conflict resolution practices. This course will teach mid-level managers and mentors how to leverage the following conflict resolution principles to train their team members: understanding differences in opinion, emotions and conflict, and culture and conflict.

Conflict Resolution 202

In continuation of the precepts outlined in CRS 201, this course will guide mentors and instructors on how to “train in” mature conflict management skills such as embracing conflict, tact, privacy, resolving conflict by staying on the “issues” and not personalities, and persuasion in negotiation and conflict resolution, culture and conflict. The emphasis will be on training the trainer, and equipping them with the skills needed to empower their interns and less experienced team members.

Instruction for both courses will be delivered via a combination of face-to-face and online methods, and tailored to organizational course-length requirements.
